Standon Hall Accommodation

Tarpey Woodfine Architects were commissioned to design and facilitate the conversion of Standon Hall’s upper floors to form a new bridal suite, breakfast rooms and overnight accommodation for wedding guests.

Detailed meetings with the client and conservation officer were held to agree a new servicing strategy for the building without disturbing existing historically significant features such as cornices, original fireplaces and wooden panelling.

We worked with the client to design contemporary additions which complement the existing historical elements and appearance of the hall by clearly differentiating between the old and new parts of the building.
