Kingsley And Froghall Station

Tarpey Woodfine Architects were commissioned to design a replacement building for the previous station master’s house which had been demolished in 1968. Our design was prepared following extensive research and scrutiny of historical records to ensure that the building reflected the railway vernacular and satisfied the requirements of the planning and conservation officers.

The brief had to meet modern accommodation needs including a new platform canopy, ticket office, café, toilets, meeting room and a holiday apartment.
