Brampton Museum
Brampton Museum, featuring over 2000 years of borough history, lies hidden in Brampton Park less than a mile from the town centre. The building houses a collection of period streetscape sets as well as current art exhibitions in an attractive Victorian landscaped garden setting which lies in the conservation area.
We were appointed by Newcastle Borough Council to refurbish the Museum. The works involved comprehensive alterations and refurbishment of the whole building including the replacement and restoration of original features such as lead and timber gutters, re-roofing, new windows, and repairs to stonework and external brickwork.
