We were originally commissioned to prepare a master plan for the site and secure outline planning approval for a developer client. Following subsequent acquisition by the Royal Bank of Scotland, the practice was appointed to develop the detailed design for a prominent three storey speculative office building on part of the site.
The building comprises six open-plan office spaces accessed via a centrally positioned glass stair and lift core to allow maximum flexibility for prospective end-users. The scale of the building is also reduced by the perimeter glazing at second floor level.
