New House

This project is a 48 bedroom new-build specialist care facility for the elderly. The building is located in Trentham and provides full disabled en-suite facilities for each resident and additional recreational space for each cluster of 12 bedrooms.

The accommodation is arranged in two L-shaped buildings on two storeys which have been designed to enclose external courtyard spaces and work around mature tree constraints so that the available site area is maximised without compromising views from interior spaces. The building is constructed from brickwork, render and a pitched tiled roof.
