Our client asked us how their building could be improved to offer better facilities for their residents while becoming more efficient and easier to manage.
We subsequently proposed a programme of refurbishment including the upgrading of a large redundant garage area into habitable accommodation. As a result of these proposals, the building will gain an additional 10 bedroom spaces along with improved kitchen, dining and lounge areas without the need for any extensions. The installation of an efficient new boiler and solar-thermal hot water panels will also significantly reduce running costs.
We have obtained full planning permission and work is due to start on site early in 2011
